I have found that many press release distribution sites - particularly free sites - do not allow html links in the body of the release. Therefore, the linking technique described in your post has limited application (although the inclusion of keywords will still produce results).

Hi Lisa,

Market Wire DOES allow html links in the body of the release:

Through our "Live Links" function within our SEO product, our clients can hyperlink keywords or terms within their press release and have it direct linked to whatever URL they choose.

Hi,

Had a doubt, when we have the new release on my website which is talking about our new product, should we copy paste the same PR which we give to PR website or tweak it a bit for our users?
I am currently writing blog which tells about my new product.
How can a new release be different from my this blog post??

Thanks,
Sonal
