You know when your marketing agency or business partner just doesn't get it? It's frustrating as hell.
friends Tim Washer, Scott Teems, and I put together a three part video series to show the absurdity of working with others.
This is part one. Direct YouTube link here.
Watch this blog for parts two and three in the next several weeks.
Tim Washer is all of the following: Host. Comedian. Writer. Presbyterian.
Scott Teems is a filmmaker. His latest film is That Evening Sun, which he wrote and directed and stars Hal Holbrook. I'll be in the audience when That Evening Sun has a world premiere on March 16, 2009 at the South-by-Southwest festival.

Hilarious! This should be on an episode of The Office.

Hi David,
Enjoying the current book and have enjoyed the others as well. So these videos must be the "plans" you mentioned a few weeks ago on the Hubspot Webinar. Tim Washer is great. Look forward to the other videos.

Hi David,
This is a great use of video. I really enjoyed. I heard you interviewed by Chris Cardell and liked what I heard ... and have now seen.

David, This is brilliant. So funny. I really enjoyed your talk yesterday. The book is fantastic so far. I am going to buy many more of the books for our managers here at the Roger Smith Hotel. Great stuff.

OMG David, this is so ON TARGET! My partner and I are building a business to be exactly the opposite of this. We have been media sales reps for several decades and always talked of the waste and fluff agencies do to make themself look indespensible. They complicate things to the client so the client feels he needs them. We are simplifying online for local businesses. Frankly, we've used your "New Rules" book as one of our guides. Wish us well. Thanks.

The video reminds me of many conversations I've had with salespeople who don't give a rip about my business. All many of them want to do is make the sale. It doesn't matter to them if we're successful or not.
Salesfolks like this are kind of like gangsters. But instead of a drive-by shootings, they perpetrate drive-by selling.
